979WVOK Contest Rules
Registration for contests are determined by each set of individual contest rules.
"A Hero's Dew" grand prize winner will receive 4 tickets to the June 19th Braves game at Truist Park in Atlanta, GA.
Other contestants nominated in the contest may win a Mountain Dew product to say thanks for their work.
Winners of Minor contests (On-Air, Weekly, Daily, or Remote Broadcast contests) must wait 30 days before attempting to win a minor contest for a second time with 979WVOK. Weekly or daily winners are still eligible to win Major Promotional contests that occur throughout the year.
Prizes won during Minor Contests are not for resale. If a Minor Contest winner is found to be selling Minor Contest Prizes, it may lead to a temporary or permanent ban from winning said contests.
Winners of Major Promotions during the year are not eligible to win another Major Promotion contest for 6 months.
Contests open to all ages unless otherwise specified. Entrants 18 and younger must have the prize claimed by a parent or legal guardian.
Prize cannot be exchanged for cash
All winners agree that neither Woodard Broadcasting Co. Inc. nor any other participating sponsor will be liable for any injury that may occur in connection with winner’s acceptance of any contest prize(s).
Woodard Broadcasting Co. Inc. and all participating sponsors reserve the right to use the winner's name, voice and likeness and the fact that he/she has won a prize(s) in publicizing this and any contest.
Contests are open to all residents of Alabama and listeners, except for full or part-time employees of Woodard Broadcasting Co. Inc., any of their affiliated corporations, or any of their advertising agencies, immediate family members of such employees, or any of their assigns or licensees.
Contests are NOT OPEN to owners, officers, employees, consultants or advertising/marketing agencies for any radio station in this market area as defined by Arbitron Radio for the Total Survey Area.
Contests are NOT OPEN to a contest sponsor(s) or their employees.
Woodard Broadcasting Co. Inc. reserves the right to amend or change these rules at anytime
All taxes, insurance and other miscellaneous expenses or fees are the sole responsibility of winners. A 1099 form will be sent to the winner(s) at the end of each year if cash or prize values have totaled $600 or more. Winner is responsible for taxes.
Woodard Broadcasting Co. Inc. may exclude any contestant from being a winner and claiming a prize(s), if that contestant has broken any of the rules listed in this document.
All Woodard Broadcasting Co. Inc. decisions are final.
