This excites the nerd in me a little bit. Yellowstone National Park will be conducting a study this Summer on transportation alternatives in the congested park. It will include a standard shuttle service model and an automated shuttle system. T.E.D.D.Y. stands for The Electric Driverless Demonstration in Yellowstone. They will have two of these little guys shuttling people on particular routes studying to see it is helpful in easing congestion. Rides will be limited to 6 people per trip for the study.
It looks so cool. It looks very EPCOT Center-ish which is my favorite of parks at Disney World. Very neat, though someone did point out that it also looks very Jurassic World too in the sense of the little ball that the dinosaurs attacked with the kids inside. I wonder how the Bison will feel about it. Here is the link to the full story from KTVB 7.
