Mountain Dew and 979WVOK are looking to celebrate local unsung heroes in our community. We want you to nominate people that you see helping others. It can be as simple as the kid who mows their elderly neighbor’s lawn when they can’t. It could be a good neighbor who is always looking out for the neighborhood. It can be a public servant who is on the front lines every day. Maybe it’s an unknown person who impacts their town or region.

WE NEED THESE STORIES! Not just for a contest, but as an encouragement to each other.

So, nominate the person you think deserves some recognition. We will surprise some of these folks with a free Mountain Dew and hope to show those times we can thank the nominee in person. At the end of the contest, we will draw for one of our nominees to win 4 tickets to an Atlanta Braves game coming up later this Summer.
